Responsibilities:Manage purchasing process to get purchasing requisition from planning team and transfer into purchasing order, and control all the purchasing order and delivery on time and right qualityPrimary responsibilities, execute company’s purchasing policy to generate the purchase order and follow goods receiving, open PO checking, invoice matching, MSDS, TDS, COA collection.Involve into the project purchasing or new sales order with the resource of existing supplier and deliver the necessary RFQ information if needed.Collect and analyze supplier/product information to provide product reference and price reference to related functions, doing negotiations to achieve cost saving. Manage and optimize supplier payment term, and control AP.Communicate market trends, updates and developments to related functions with sales team to predict the future trend.Supplier Relationship Management and involve in the request of quality, service and price, especially quality nonconformance to come up with the COA report and manage supplier quality towards right trend. Collaborate with product manager to develop business case supporting the development of product and/or supplier.Develop personal insight in the fields of General Chemicals, which consists of competence at negotiate price/supply consistence/quality control/market trends, and develop adequate soft skill for people handling.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required, chemical background and international trade preferred. 2-3 year working experiences, in multinational companies are preferred.In depth knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures, knowledge of basic financial concepts preferred.Problem solving and negotiation skills necessary.Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.Ability to work in a challenging environment, can work under pressure. Ability to work off-hours to make contact with suppliers and other overseas parties in international time zones.Fluent English and Mandarin are required.Strong computer skills – MS Excel, Word, PPT and Internet.
